President Donald Trump proposes to postpone the 2020 U.S. presidential election

New Delhi: U.S. President Donald Trump proposed to postpone the 2020 election on Thursday (July 30), stating that it would be the “most inaccurate and most fraudulent election” due to mail-in voting.

The President of the United States said in a tweet: “Using universal mail voting (not absent voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most inaccurate and fraudulent election in history. This will bring great embarrassment to the United States. Until Can people vote properly, safely and safely?”

According to a Bloomberg report, President Trump’s tweet came after the Department of Commerce announced that the economy was shrinking at a record 32.9% in the second quarter, and data from the Department of Labor showed that more and more Americans claim to enjoy national unemployment benefits. It was released a few minutes later by the Americans.

It is worth noting that the presidential election is held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Without a Congressional bill, the timetable cannot be changed, which is difficult to pass in the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives.

According to reports, Donald Trump is 8 percentage points behind the Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the average number of polls that “really clear politics.” The report also added that his average polls in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin also lag behind other countries.
