Pakistan uses underground tunnels to push terrorists, drones put down weapons: J&K DGP

JAMMU: Chamu and the Kashmir police chief said that Pakistan is using cross-border underground tunnels to push terrorists into India and use drones to throw weapons at them. Three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists were killed in an encounter in Nagrota in January this year.

He said: “The investigation is still ongoing, but ground indicators indicate that Pakistan has used the tunnel in the past to push infiltrators.” But he does not rule out the possibility of adding such tunnels.

He said that BSF and police officers are looking for other tunnels in the area.

Regarding the recent news that advanced weapons including the M-16 rifle were recovered from a truck near Gazgud bound for Kashmir, he said that the investigation is ongoing and it is believed that these weapons were used in the Samba area using drones. Airdropped.

Officials said that two ground workers from JeM who were transporting weapons by truck had found a location in Samba, where they had taken the terrorist cargo destined for southern Kashmir.
