Delhi police arrested a man on Thursday on suspicion of the brutal rape of a 12-year-old girl in the Paschim Vihar area. The defendant was identified based on CCTV video and has a criminal record.
In a terrible incident, a minor was brutally raped and seriously injured by a sharp weapon in the Paskin Vihar region, the national capital. Currently, the child is being treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The condition of the minor is extremely critical and she is fighting for her life.
The defendant lived in the Manglapuri area of New Delhi. The child yelled when he saw that he had committed theft. The defendant subsequently raped her. Many lawsuits have been filed against the defendant, and he also committed murder in 2006.
News agency PTI quoted Police Joint Commissioner (Western) Shalini Singh as saying: “There are more than 20 teams. They scanned hundreds of CCTV videos and interrogated all suspects with similar backgrounds. Finally, the defendant was arrested on Thursday. catch.”
Singh said: “During the interrogation, he confirmed a series of incidents of assaults on children. Kerry Shan carried out four criminal cases against him, including one murder, one murder and burglary. We are under further investigation.”
The police said Kerry Hill had entered the house for theft. The girl screamed when she saw him. The defendant grabbed her and attacked her with scissors. He stabbed her many times with scissors. They said the victim’s face, head and other body parts were injured.
The rape survivor was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital by police who were soaked in blood in Delhi on the evening of August 4. The child has a deep wound on her body, and her private parts are bleeding constantly. Her whole body was stained with blood, and her head and the back of her body had scars from sharp weapons. After the initial treatment, the team of doctors referred her to AIIMS.
According to the police, the incident happened when the girl was alone. Cases registered under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act).
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Thursday, where she fought for her life and met with her family and the doctors who treated her. He announced the provision of 1 million rupees to the family of the 12-year-old child.
CM Kejriwal said that after meeting with the doctor, he was told that the next 48 hours were crucial for the girl. He claimed that he also had a conversation with Police Commissioner S N Srivastava and added that the perpetrators of this heinous crime will receive the harshest punishment.
When he turned to the Weibo website Twitter, he tweeted in Hindi, saying: “AIIMS medical staff requires doctors to be doctors. aparadhiyon ko sakht se sakht saza dilavaenge. Parivaar ko sarkaar Rs 100,000 sahaayata raashi de rahee hain. (Learn about the girl’s condition by meeting with the AIIMS doctor and family. The doctor said the next 48 hours are important. I also told the police chief. The perpetrators of this heinous crime will be the most severe Penalty. The government will provide 1 million rupees in assistance to the family.)”
CM Kejriwal accompanied Swati Maliwal, Director of the Delhi Commission for Women’s Affairs (DCW) to visit AIIMS. Maliwal said in a video on Twitter: “The girl had multiple fractures and bite marks all over her body. She was brutally beaten to the point that every part of her body showed signs of injury.”
She accused the police of delaying the arrest of the defendant. She pointed out that despite the cruel nature of the attack, two days have passed since the incident and the police have not yet arrested the defendant. Mariwal said: “I am convening DCP. I will ask him about the investigation.”
