Australia’s winder and spinner Adam Zampa expressed his excitement and his willingness to trade Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) at the upcoming IPL 2020.
RCB announced the signing of right-arm cyclone Zampa to replace Kane Richardson in the upcoming UAE IPL 2020 lineup. Richardson, a 29-year-old fast bowler, quit the game and gave birth to his first child with his wife.
Considering the slowness of the UAE, RCB’s decision to replace Richardson’s pacemaker with a traditional spinner like Zampa will not be surprised.
The addition of Zampa further strengthened the RCB’s spinning attack, which has been proud of Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Moeen Ali, Pawan Negi and the uncapped Shahbaz Ahmed.
Zampa expressed the prospect of bowling with bowler Yuzvendra Chahal.
“I had a very good opportunity in the IPL bowling game with Chahal at RCB. I may have the opportunity to bowl these balls because of the structure of the team. I really like bowling with another left-hander, so “This will be a very good opportunity to bowl with Chahal. We have similar characteristics, but we can also learn something from each other. Zampa told cricket.com.au.
The 28-year-old further expressed his love for dead-ball bowling and the challenges that ensue when the batter wants to take control. In the recently concluded second T20I match between England and Australia, Zampa was second to last, but because Jos Buttler ended the match with the biggest Zampa result, Can take away Australia’s final barrier to entry.
“I really like bowling, and I especially like those stressful matches, especially when they are in progress. They need (18) to win the last two matches (in the second T20), I told Vinci I should play bowling. Obviously, there is no plan, but I will not change my attitude after a game.” Zampa said.
The spinner is currently participating in Australia’s ongoing three-match ODI series against England. Zampa has been hot in the series, with seven wickets from two ODIs. The series tied for 1-1, and the final ODI game will be held on September 16. After the series, he is likely to join his RCB teammates.
Zampa is no stranger to the rigors and pressures of IPL games. He played in the disbanded Rising Pune Supergiant team in 2016 and 2017. He participated in 11 IPL games and mastered 19 wickets with a decent economic rate of 7.55. The Australian also scored five victories on his name-when he scored 6/19 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.
RCB has a strong presence in the upcoming 13th edition of IPL. The franchise also brings the Australian speed limit captain Aaron Finch (Aaron Finch), which will definitely increase the team’s chances of participating in the game.
Royal Challenger Bangalore will talk to SunRisers Hyderabad at the opening ceremony on September 21.
